Senior Clinical Product Quality Manager

Job Description

As a Senior Clinical Product Quality Manager, you leverage advanced clinical expertise to guide cross-functional teams, offering insights crucial for design and development aligned with clinical workflows. Your role involves providing comprehensive guidance on complex clinical workflows, ensuring testing aligns with product requirements and clinical use-cases. Additionally, you meticulously review design documents, design and implement test plans, and act as a key advocate for clinical end-users, advocating for product improvements. You play a pivotal role in streamlining collaborative discussions, producing detailed project deliverables, leading hands-on demonstrations, and preparing specifications for medical device interfaces, crucial for operational efficacy.

Responsibilities:

  • Utilize advanced clinical and workflow knowledge and experience to communicate and collaborate with cross functional teams.
  • Performs research and analysis and provide feedback to design and product development groups on related clinical use-cases, interaction with current product functionality, available configuration options, and anticipated client preferences and needs.
  • Provides guidance on complex clinical workflows and considerations necessary for testing.
  • Provide clinical oversight to ensure testing efforts are aligned with product requirements and appropriate clinical use-cases.
  • Review and analyze design requirement documents.
  • Design, implement, and ensure test plans, test matrices, and test cases are aligned to product requirements.
  • Analyze, reproduce, and report component defects and special situations.
  • Serve as a voice of the clinical end user when advocating for or requesting a fix or improvement to the product
  • Lead collaborative discussions across departments to streamline product development, testing, and turnover efforts.
  • Produces project deliverables used by internal and external customers detailing product features, enhancements, use-cases, configurations etc. needed for system use and operation.
  • Lead hands-on demonstrations of enhancements and modifications made to the product.
  • Performs research, analysis, and prepares detailed specifications for medical device interfaces.

Education:

  • Bachelor's Required, Degree in Nursing
  • 5+ years of hospital nursing experience with working knowledge of clinical environments and clinical workflows.
  • Experience with clinical product testing and test methodologies e.g. developing test cases, test procedures, test scripts and test reports and doing the "hands on" implementation of those plans.
  • Understanding of healthcare patient administration, clinical and business systems.
  • Leadership experience in a hospital or health system.

Preferred:

  • Master's degree in informatics.
  • Process Improvement certification (Lean, Lean Six Sigma, Agile Management etc.).
  • Experience with product requirements development and software quality assurance and quality control processes.

The base salary range for this full-time position is $157,000 - $173,000.

CliniComp's salary ranges are benchmarked and are determined by role and level. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations and could be higher or lower based on a multitude of factors, including job-related skills, experience, location and relevant education or training.
